    Ong Seng Pheow

    Mr Ong is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors at HELP Education Group. He has over 34 years’ experience in public practice with an international firm of accountants. Mr Ong was the National Director of Assurance and Advisory Business Services of Ernst & Young Malaysia from 1994 until 2003.

    He also sat on the Board of Directors of Daiman Development Berhad, George Kent (Malaysia Berhad, LCTH Corporation Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad and RHB Insurance Berhad. Mr Ong is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certfied Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

    Adam Chan

    Currently the Deputy Executive Chairman of HELP Education Group, Adam was the Executive Director responsible for Investor Relations for HELP International Corporation Bhd when it was listed on BURSA Malaysia.

    He currently leads the senior leadership team to manage the various business units within HEG. Adam also initiated Project Self-HELP which provided educational opportunities to refugees and trained over 1,200 refugee children in Malaysia.

    Adam sits on the board of various HELP Educational Group subsidiaries and has been pushing HELP’s pursuit in environmental sustainability through solar energy and water harvesting. Adam also has working experience in Singapore and Hong Kong before joining HEG.

    Datin Chan Low Kam Yoke

    Datin Chan is the co-founder and was the former Group Chief Executive of the HELP Education Group. She steered the group from a small tutorial centre to being listed on BURSA Malaysia in 2008 and being listed on Forbes Asia’s 200 Best Under a Billion list.

    She was also the Ernst & Young Female Entrepreneur of the year in 2011, and was honoured with the Ordre National du Merite from the French government. Datin Chan has always believed that education is key to changing lives and has annually contributed roughly RM20m in financial assistance to needy students. Datin Chan is also the Chairperson of the Malaysian Public Library, Research and Development Centre.

    Dato’ Dr Thong Kok Cheong

    Dato’ Thong is our Senior Independent Director. He worked for Shell for 19 years and has considerable experience in upstream business of exploration and production of oil and gas, and downstream oil business in refining, supply and trading.

    He was appointed Chief Corporate Planner for the Shell Group in Malaysia from 1991 to 1993. After that, Dato' Thong left to start his own business in property development, manufacturing and trading.

    He was also appointed to the boards of Jasa Megah Industries and Insas Bhd retiring in 2000. Dato' Thong graduated from Imperial College London with First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering, he also obtained his PhD from Imperial College in 1971.

    Datuk Shireen Ann Muhiudeen

    Datuk Shireen is a senior investment professional, managing emerging market investments for over 33 years. She founded her responsible asset manager firm, Corston -Smith in 2004 due to her strong belief in sustainability.

    Prior to Corston-Smith, Shireen was the CEO of AIG Investment Corporation from 1992 managing regional portfolios. Shireen also accepted the role as the first female Chairman of the Malaysia Stock Exchange, and as an Executive Committee member of the Economic Action Council for Malaysia which is chaired by the Prime Minister.

    Shireen has been named on Forbes Asia’s 50 Power Businesswomen 2014 and as 25 Most Influential Women in Asia Pacific’s Asset Management Industry by Asian Investor in 2011. Shireen was recently appointed Deputy Chairman of the Asian International Arbitration Centre. She also released her Amazon #1 Bestseller “We are all Stakeholders – Culture, Politics and Radical Accountability in the Boardroom.

    Choo Wei Chuen

    Choo Wei Chuen is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Infoline Tec Group Bhd which he started in 2021. Infoline Tec Group Bhd is an ACE-Market-listed information technology (IT) infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions provider with a presence in Malaysia and China.

    He is responsible for business development as well as the overall strategic and general management of the Group. With his background and vast experience, he has established a vast network of clientele and also spearheaded the Group’s expansion into the PRC market. He is the founder of Infoline Technology Sdn Bhd which was founded in 2003. Previously, he was also the Director at Inline Technologies Pte Ltd and Infoline Technology Ltd.
