Kuala Lumpur, 8 July 2015 – HELP University conducted a voice training session: ‘Introduction to Effective Voice’ for all staff at HELP. This session was held at HELP University ELM Business School from 9.30am to 12.30pm and was delivered by Ros Johnson and Neil Johnson. Ros is a trained teacher having completed her Bachelor of Education Honours Degree at Central School of Speech and Drama while Neil spent ten years working as an Actor in Theatre and Television following three years training at Guildford School of Acting in the UK. He has worked as a producer/consultant in the conference and communications industry since 1994. The aim of this workshop was to improve voice articulation and audibility as well as pronunciation. This workshop focused on the proper techniques of breathing and relaxation, centering and focus, articulation and listening and pace, pause and projection.
