Associate Professor James H. Bray
Former President of the APA (American Psychological Association) (2009)
Dr Bray completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston and currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Baylor College, Texas. He is the editorial reviewer for over 20 academic journals including Child Development, the Journal of Clinical Child Psychology and the Psychology Bulletin. Dr Bray has over 175 academic publications, in a diverse range of research areas including mental health, family psychology, substance abuse and the training of psychologists. He is also the recipient of the President’s award for outstanding service to the Texas Psychological Association.
Professor Allan Bernardo
President of the Asian Association of Social Psychology
Professor Bernardo completed his PhD in Psychology at Yale University as a Fullbright Scholar, and with over 180 academic publications, is one of the most accomplished Asian researchers in the area of the Psychology. He serves as an editorial board member for over 20 academic journals including the Asian Journal of Social Psychology and the European Journal of Psychology and Education. Professor Bernardo was the previous President of the ASEAN Regional Union of Psychological Sciences (ARUPS). He is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Macao, having formerly served as Vice President for Academics and Research in De La Salle University, Manila.
