Royal Holloway is ranked among the top research-led universities in the UK. It is an innovative and forward-looking institution acknowledged worldwide for its world class research and excellent teaching. Established in 1879, Royal Holloway is today one of the University of London’s six largest Colleges and is home to more than 9,000 students. It is also one of the rare few colleges in the UK which is allowed to use the title “Royal”.
Academic direction of the BSc degree in Business Administration offered by Royal Holloway is provided by academics within the School of Management. As one of the Royal Holloway’s largest departments, the School of Management is notable for its active involvement and original research in international business and the up-to-date knowledge gained is reflected in its teaching of management studies. All academic staff members are active researchers and the publication of their findings in books and articles speaks volume of the excellence of their academic work.
The study of organizations and practices in various countries at different periods has made significant contributions to the School’s educational method. This comparative perspective is especially appropriate to the challenges encountered by modern business and management education in a fast and rapid changing environment.
Last but not least the School also plays host to the Centre for Asia Pacific Business Research which supervises a number of research and publication projects. The Asia Pacific Business Review represents a major initiative in the field of management studies.
