HELP ADP is the preferred transfer program to the University of Waterloo and consistently admits the largest student numbers from Malaysia to UW each year.

Faculty of Mathematics

The University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Mathematics has the largest concentration of mathematical and computer science talent in the world. Perhaps the best testimony to Waterloo’s standing and exceptional reputation is the quality and many achievements of the faculty’s teachers, researchers, alumni and students. With more than 5,300 students, 200 full-time professors, and 180 courses in mathematics, statistics and computer science, the faculty is a powerhouse of discovery and innovation.

Admission during transfer

Students in the HELP-Waterloo combined program will need to complete one year in HELP before attending University of Waterloo.
  • Regular studies Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 and Grade Point Average of at least 3.7 in mathematics courses.
  • Co-op studies Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.7 and Grade Point Average of at least 3.7 in mathematics courses.
