Students from various schools attending the campus visit lecture in business studies conducted by staff at HU
HELP University (HU) held a campus visit on 8 June 2015 for Penang Chinese Girls’ High School, Chung Ling High School – George Town, Chung Ling High School – Butterworth and SMK Convent Bukit Mertajam at HELP ELM Business School.
These campus visits are carried out to help students who are transitioning into university studies to pick the proper course and the proper university for themselves. With the amazing facilities here in HU, students get to have a glimpse of what to expect in university life. The talks and sessions carried out by HU personals are very effective and really opens up the doors and the eyes of these students to choose their career-paths.
This campus tour was led by HU’s current students and its experienced facilitators which provided an introduction to the HU student experience and a brief overview of the university facilities. HU’s campus visits are unique as experienced lecturers and tutors carry out activities and talks to showcase the quality HU. In this campus visit, there were teamwork workshops, board games, talks, entrepreneur sharing sessions and an interesting lecture in business studies. There was also a “Q & A” session on why students should study at HU, along with an explanation on scholarship information and HU’s career path in business studies.
When interviewed, students said that they felt that this workshop was very helpful to them and that it also opened their eyes to a lot of outcomes and possibilities. One student, Lim Jia Ni, from Chung Ling High School – Butterworth said, “This was one of the best talks that I have attended. I find this very helpful not only to do better in school but to also grow as an individual. The quality of the lecture is top-notch and I am happy to have attended this campus visit”.
