HELP University has recently joined forces with WACA Pte. Ltd. to offer web analytics courses and certifications to Malaysian students. The Web Analytics Consultants Association (WACA) originated from Japan and its courses have been pursued by over 10,000 students in Japan.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked between Dr Khong Kim Hong, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of HELP University and Mr Eijiri Toshiaki, founder of WACA at LS11, Wisma HELP on September 23, 2016.
In conjunction with the MoU signing, the Centre for Professional Development & Data Analytics (CPDDA) also conducted two workshops on the same day. Mr Athar Hammed, CTO and Python specialist delivered the Python programming workshop while the Associate Web Analytics training preview and workshop was conducted by Mr Eijiri Toshiaki, Mr Mike Lim and Mr David Chan.
During the preview, the presenters spoke about the importance of web analytics and web marketing in the current digital landscape. Other topics that they covered included understanding KPIs and hypotheses in web marketing, creating PDCA culture, understanding business frameworks as well as learning trends and planning.
