KOREAN COURSE Students undergoing the short course in the Korean language at HELP University (HU)
There has been an increase of interest and popularity in the South Korean culture for the past decade. This “Kimchi” culture has managed to seep into the minds of the younger generation here in Malaysia.
Fast driven by the spread of Korean pop (K-Pop), Korean dramas (K-Dramas) and the delicious Korean food, the Korean Wave has been evolving from a regional development into a global phenomenon.
HELP Center for Korean Language and Culture in Partnership with Kyung Hee University is carrying out a short course in the Korean language. This course would be carried out by a well-known, Korean lecturer from Kyung Hee University, Mr. Shin Sang Hyun. With more than four years of teaching experience and a Masters in Korean Language Education as a Foreign Language, Mr. Shin has developed a 20 hour course to ensure that students learn the Korean language in a quick and strategic manner. This program is tailored solely to the needs and specifications of students.
Classes will begin on the 13th of April, 2015. These classes will be carried out on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12.00pm – 02.00pm at Wisma HELP. The charges for this short course in the Korean language, is only RM371.00. This fee however is only for HELP Students. If you have a friend that is not from HELP and would like to join in the course, they can, but the charges would be different.
