Kuala Lumpur – HELP University carried out the semi-finals and the finals of the 4th International Debate Competition for Chinese Secondary Schools (CSS) on Sunday, 26 July 2015, from 9.00am to 3.30pm at HELP University, ELM Business School. This International Debate Competition was initiated by HELP as HELP has been the leader in organizing English debates among Chinese schools annually.
The results of this debate competition are as follows: The second runner-up went to Yu Yuan Secondary School and Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School; the first runner-up was Chung Hua High School, Seremban and the winner for the 4th International Debate Competition for Chinese Secondary Schools (CSS) was Han Chiang High School, Penang.

This debate competition was carried out to encourage students to speak English; to bring about a higher proficiency of the language. This debate competition has managed to create learning situations in which students develop proficiencies based on sound educational and communication theories.
