HELP University is organizing a contest, “The Faces of HELP” to encourage students to come up with a creative 1.00 – 1.30 minute video in HD quality of what HELP is to them. The video will need to include “HELP is…” This contest is only open to HELP University students.

The contest submission period begins on 25 May 2015 and ends on 05 June 2015. The contest voting will take place from 08 June 2015 to 19 June 2015. The tallying of the votes will take place from 22 June 2015 and the winners will be announced on 26 June 2015, on HELP University’s Facebook page. Winners will also receive a personal message, “inbox” on Facebook. During the contest period (as mentioned above), students who would like to take part in competition can take part by sending in their video to HELP University’s Facebook page through a personal message, “inbox”.

These videos will then be uploaded on HELP University’s Facebook page and will then be judged by the number of likes on Facebook and by a panel of judges from the management team. The videos are judged based on:

  • Clarity in both video (HD format) & audio
  • Creativity

A total of six videos will be selected to represent the “Face of HELP”. Cash awards will be awarded to those selected.

Contest Details

BY SUBMISSION OF VIDEO, SUBMITTER AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES, WHICH SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL RESPECTS. The FACES OF HELP Contest encourages HELP university students to come up with the most creative version of a 1.00 – 1.30 minute video in HDquality of what HELP is to them. This video will be judged by (a)The number of likes on Facebook and by (b)A panel of judges from the management team. There will be 6 winners that will be selected. Cash awards will be awarded to these winners.

2. ELIGIBILITY:

Prizes in the contest will be awarded to the best videos, as deemed by number of likes on social media and the panel of judges.

3. TO ENTER:

During the contest period (as mentioned above), students who would like to take part in competition can take part by sending in their video to HELP University’s Facebook page through a personal message, “inbox”.

1. Demonstrate what HELP University is to you. The video must include, “HELP is…”
2. Be 1.00 – 1.30 minutes or less in duration.
3. Comply with these Official Rules and the submission guidelines as stated in Rule 4. The person uploading the submission will be deemed the submitter.

4. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Submissions cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about any person or organization, its services, products, or other people, products or companies or communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which HELP University wishes to associate. The Customer Marketing Department (CMD) reserves the right to and will, monitor or screen submissions prior to posting them on the facebook page.

The Customer Marketing Department (CMD) has no obligation to use or post any submission you submit. By providing a submission, the submitter grants to the CMD an exclusive, perpetual, transferable license to copy, publish, broadcast, display, distribute, use, edit, translate, alter, combine with other material, reuse and adapt any or all portions of the submissions in any way and for any purpose whatsoever, at any time, now or in the future, in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in any manner whatsoever and for any purpose.

Submissions that are not in accordance with the guidelines as stated herein or are not received during the contest submission period will be ineligible. Submissions cannot (a) be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, contain nudity or any materially dangerous activity; (b) promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message; (c) be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group; (d) contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, without permission, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, email addresses or street addresses without permission; (e) contain copyrighted materials owned by third parties other than the submitters(s) or HELP University (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media) without permission; (f) contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission; and (g) depict, and cannot itself be in, a violation of any law.

By submitting a submission you warrant and represent that it: (a) is your original work, (b) has not been previously published, (c) has not received previous awards, (d) does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity; (e) that you have obtained permission from a person who is used in the submission or whose name, likeness or voice is used in the submission, if any, and (f) that publication of the submission via various media including online posting, will not infringe on the rights of any third party rights.

All submissions become the sole property of the Customer Marketing Department (CMD), HELP University, and will not be acknowledged or returned. By submitting a submission, you agree that your submission is gratuitous and made without restriction.

You acknowledge that, by acceptance of your submission, the Customer Marketing Department (CMD), HELP University does not waive any rights to use similar or related.

5. CONTEST JUDGING:

During the contest judging period, submissions will be judged on the following criteria: (a) 50 percent will be based on number of likes on Facebook (b) Another 50 percent will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Clarity in both video (HD format) & audio
  • Creativity
6. PRIZE DETAILS:

A total of six people will be selected to be the FACE OF HELP. Cash awards will be awarded to those selected. We are also recruiting people to be in future publications of HELP University so take this as a huge stepping stone or opportunity to your career goals.

7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

By participating in the contest, submitters agree (by sending in their videos) to waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages. If winners are found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize(s) may be forfeited and an alternate winners may be selected.
